I tested this by setting it back to “post” instead of the CPT and then assigned the new Taxonomies to “post” and the same issue persists. Are the taxonomies not supposed to show on the page? If not, is there a way to show them instead of having to use the custom fields option inside of WPUF?

Ideally, we’d prefer to use taxonomies and CPT’s simply because they allow us to do deeper searches without having to do a ton of extra coding. We just want to use WPUF as an interface to submit the posts so our users don’t have to worry about fooling around with the WordPress backend.
