Where is the update ?? 68930
David | holding my breath too. I am sure it is coming soon. they are packing in a lot of updates and fixes im sure so takes time (asking for our patience) im hoping it is delayed because of thorough testing, when making changes it can cause new glitches im sure, id rather it be glitch free than crash my site or have more bugs or the current bugs not fixed right. My main issue killing me: both the Paypal and Paypal adaptive show up in my shopping cart for my customers buying for sellers. Even with the settings done correctly and all paypal and paypal adaptive keys/signatures etc all in place correctly as reviewed by the Paypal team and even checked off as correct by Dokan support so there is a glitch. It also shows both paypal and paypal adaptive in checkout for subscribers checking out Its not automatically choosing the option as it should. What update issues are you waiting for? This is my main one for sure. other small ones but this one about checkout with paypal gives me nightmares and acid reflux right now. |

Turning off Downloadable/Virtual Products 68929
David | I definitely would add two features thusfar: Turn File name on/off above images Turn Downloadable/Virtual images on/off Additional products you can make good money off of selling as Dokan an WooCommerce products: Option to Limit file size of uploads/subscribers to x of x without having to search for other company plugins to ensure compatiblility–lots of options already out there but make one that caters to your clients Now this one is a big one, because there are no solutions out there right now, you could sell to a massive clientele by making it compatible for all multivendor (woocommerce multivendor/dokan/more): Detailed US tax files (and other country files) with all cities zips as a sellable product of somesort or cloud product, kept updated, in a compresses version so that website does not crash due to too many lines in backend– if you figure this one out for different countries and sell as a WooCommerce product you would make another million in a couple years. Compatible and for sale for Multivendor platform Dokan and WooVendors both. Tax cloud is only for single seller not multivendor support. Figure that one out and you make more serious money (because we know you are making good serious money already this year, congratulations). Figure out this solution and you will have your most popular product ever im sure. |

Turning off Downloadable/Virtual Products 68928
David | Martin, Very helpful but I cant quite figure out how to get to the code section. any tip as to where I access it? Another very bothersome thing is in WordPress Lightbox how the image file name shows up on pictures. If they were to rename them that would be great for SEO purposes etc, but they dont. Do you know how to remove the Image name when someone clicks on images and they pull up in WordPress/Woocommerce lightbox and file is above the image square? Its an unprofessional looking nuisance Thank you for your assistance. Definitely appreciated |

Lets Talk SALES TAX and the US — Help me out if you have tax feature on 68927
David | Every state has many sales tax. More than you would ever imagine. Enough sales tax rates based on zip code to crash my private VPS top plan server doing it this way Any idea how Etsy and Ebay are doing it? tied to a cloud service or what? Do you have any clue how I can put all the tax rates without crashing What is the solution? Thank you |
David | as far as the store support feature, I am waiting to see how more people respond to it before buying it. Anyhow. I dont know much at all. Just waiting for update from dokan for next version for my own issues. I definitely had to learn a lot the past month. Good luck on getting your site going. |
David |
Dokan video playlist that got me going follow every single step in order, and videos in order, and also refer to support documentation. also, Plugins are necessary if you want to get it fully going with vendors, shipping, etc. The full dokan You will need to create your own sliders to suit your company and banners and all that fun stuff. |
David | all the videos for WeDevs on youtube if you search for WeDevs Dokan help a lot, they are linked on here too, follow each video step by step an pause as you go through the whole process and it will get you going. from that point you will need to customize your website, most of your questions will be answered by watching (all, not some) of the videos and using the support documentation. Once you have followed all the steps you should have a basic setup of your website. from that point forward you will need customization. Dokan offers a child theme with Dokan. Learn to customize your website using Youtube videos again. WordPress is highly configurable. They will not help with customizing your website, you will need to do that part. By the way, do not activate your license while developing on the backend. Dont enter your license key until it is live on the server. 99% of your answers when starting are all in the videos but it takes patience and you follow the videos 1 step at a time and pause will be your best friend. They definitely need more videos and should add to the library for configuring sales tax, and videos for setting up Paypal and Paypal Adaptive in detail. Those videos are not there but should be. Your questions will be answered in: http://docs.wedevs.com/category/themes/dokan/ but also make sure you go through all the support documentation and videos Search feature does not work on the forum at this time for me in safari or firefox for Dokan to search past topics, I have to manually go through. If you are all botched up, sometimes what you need to do is start all over, and use the videos and support threads in link above an you will get much farther. it all takes time, and you will find more questions not offered answers to, but setting up I am not support. Just another user like you trying to move along in the process. Hope this helps. It got me going. This is by no means something that will totally set up itself, |

Lets Talk SALES TAX and the US — Help me out if you have tax feature on 68667
David | I am asking, Perhaps that should be your next product. To have a complete Dokan Solution. A tax CSV extension that updates as often as taxes update, You would sell a ton of that app or extension if compatible for WooCommerce and Dokan both But for now, Since I am obviously a multivendor store with Dokan, Am I supposed to enter all the different sales tax rates for the United States? My site would crash. How is Etsy doing it, so how should you solve it? Thanks |

I need clarification from Anyone and Everyone Willing to give me straight answer 68660
David | to make it real simple: I have entered in all my paypal info for Dokan Adaptive and Paypal, the cart still shows both options when checking out for subscription, and both options when checking out for products Where am I going wrong? Am I supposed to create things in Paypal? It already knows that there are recurring subscriptions, it shows subscriptions and the way they will be charged automatically, it shows products or what was bought BUT it still shows both items on checkout on my website. How to fix in detail with steps? and from where with steps? |

David | Nayem, This answer was very thorough and clear, but I am still not getting it to work. Is it because I have everything right on my website, but I have not configured it when signed into Paypal? Where do I fix very specifically the issue of having both paypal and paypal adaptive showing up in my shopping cart still. It doesnt matter if someone is buying a product or subscription, both checkout options are still showing on checkout Do you have any screenshots of paypal where I configure this correctly? I know it has been configured correctly on my site. what next? I still cant publish my site and get it going until I get this fixed, it will confuse people on checkout. Perhaps some very clear documentation for new customers when buying this product will be good as this step is probably the trickiest. Thank you for your help, Still in need |

Lets Talk SALES TAX and the US — Help me out if you have tax feature on 68658
David | What I am saying is: In the United States, each person billing address is in its own tax area in the United States there are a LOT of tax areas, and hopefully I will have a decent amount of sellers So– How do I get all the sales tax info into my site so that sales tax automatically shows up in the cart correctly for each area that someone is buying from? Do I have to upload as many sales tax rates as there are sales tax disctricts in the United States? I would imagine so. Where do i get this information from, and how do I insert it? I do not have a CSV file for sales tax rates for the entire United States and this would be something changing and updating nearly daily What is the solution? What is Ebay and Etsy doing to make this work? |
