Was there a recent update which effected commenting within a project?

I am not clear about your question. Can you please describe me in more details?.

As of Monday, if anyone try’s to write a message in a project using the message tab. The system will show the title but the message will say “add a comment”. If you attempt to edit the message or reply to the post nothing happens. Then occasionally it works fine. We’ve been using Project Manager Pro for a few months and use the messaging function continuously. The issues began after the latest update.

Having the same problem. It takes me a couple of tries to get the comment to show.

I’m having task assigning problems, too. All tasks (no matter which team member it’s really going to) are internally assigned to me and my team doesn’t see them in their ‘my tasks’ area. So no one is getting emails of their tasks and are unaware of tasks… so they’re not getting done. This is not good.

I am really sorry for the inconvenience. We have already fixed those bug and now we are in testing period. Please allow us some time. We will release a hot fix very soon.

Do you have an estimate of how long the testing period will last? Also, I noticed that since the update the Front End view of projects is limited to 10 projects without the ability to move to the next page. If I’m in the backend I can see ten as well but I have the ability to click to the next page. Has this been brought to your teams attention?

Hello Rick,

We are trying to release it as early as possible. I can not confirm the date but we will release our hot fix within next week.

Project number – Project manager has to show up to 10 projects per page, if you have more then 10 projects then it will goes to the next page.

Same problem with elizabeth.
Plus: a new project square appeared in project manager home page (only) in frontend which is only shown to admins and named same as the page name. When clicked on it, it refreshes the page.

Looking forward for bug fix.

i found that:
when you assign a task from frontend it sends notification to admin only. When you send from backend it sends properly to person. And shown on his/her my task page also..

You said you had a fix 5 days ago, when can we get the update?

Rick: Not sure if this is any help to you or not. But we just reverted our plugin back to the last working version until they get this fixed. We’ve made a note to not do any updates until after one month launch in the future. We’re back working 100% by doing this.
