Wendie | Hello, I created a dutch translation file for the theme. I translated 100% of the POT file but all the placeholders are still in English. How can I change those in dutch? My general setting are also in dutch. Thank you in advance, Wendie |

Marc | Do you have a mo and po file in your folder? (nl_NL.mo nl_NL.po). Are the language files readable from your installation? I translated the Dokan Theme with the plugin “CodeStyling Localization”, it works very well. |

Wendie | Hello Marc, Thanx for your response. I did excactly as you said above, I created nl_NL.mo and nl_NL.po files from the original .pot file. I uploaded them to the language folder and all the files work fine except for the placeholders. You can see it perfectly in the searchfield. See my screenshot here |

Marc | Hello Wendie First question, do you have change the language in your wp-config.php? You should have a line with if there is another language code, you have to change this Please check this first. How did you create the files? It is not working to create the files with a text editor. Use PoEdit if you like to translate the files offline or try the plugin CodeStyling Localization. The better Solution |
