This is a great idea. Jason your site looks great. Has a very professional look. I’m still working away at my site and will post a screenshot soon and I’m up to sorting out my payments etc. May I ask if you decided on chained or parallel payments? (Leaning towards parallel at the moment…I am concerned about how refunds are handled and legality of being the one paid for the transaction in chained).
Appreciate any other feedback from the forum plse.

Personally we have decided to go for the parallel payments.

I know that woocommerce handles refunds very well, but unsure how it would work with parallel payments.

It would be nice to clear up what exactly would be refunded, but I assume the full amount would be refunded from the vendor and also the site owners commission and then returned to the buyer.

This is just speculation though so any clarification from the Devs would be great.

I will post a picture of mine shortly, I did have a question for anyone that may know, did you every get an issue where it wouldn’t let you as a “customer” edit your listing? or now it wont let me edit anything, even pages? I keep getting this issue.

Are there no other sites to showcase? I am concerned that nobody has a working site yet. Please, admin–can you point us to some sites that are functioning with dokan plugin in place (or theme)?

Jason–I was just on your site and I selected something to purchase but it seems the shipping is off/calcs not working. Does shipping work on your site? I am having the same problems on my site (private still under development) and wonder? Here is the error on your site-

Dokan been released say 3/4 months only. It is still on very early stage and i guess it is also very short-time to release a solid marketplace. Seems like everyone working on it and limitations,bugs coming out frequently. Our team also working hard to provide quick fix and future solid release. Hopefully with in next 2months we can see few success stories 🙂

I understand the plugin is new — but are there any sites with the theme? I thought it has been around for at least 8 months or more than a year? I see comments on the forums that are at least 6 months old… ??

How to translate the theme into another language ?? I have translated and using .pot file and scan editor poEdit, place files in the po and mo language folder of the plugin (/ wp-content / themes / dokan / languages) and in global (/ wp-content / languages), translation does not appear …

More precisely, there is a partial translation of the theme…

I’m following the forums for two weeks now, I worked on the Dutch translation, I bought the plugin last Friday. I installed the plugin on Saturday and have at least 8 issues with the installation. I’m stuck. It’s now Thursday and no help from support yet. I’m working with WordPress, many themes and many plugins for many years but have not encountered this type of service before. Or better, a lack of service.

I read that this solution is now ‘only 3/4 months’ old, I expect at least one site functioning properly. Anyone, anywhere? Or am I the only one that is not satisfied?

Hi Jos. It is a very unfortunate thing. I have only found one site functioning online with the Dokan THEME (not the plugin) and I sent a note to their info/webmaster but have not received a reply. That site is http://coraltrader.co.uk/

I am quite frustrated right now because I think the simplicity of the user interface is perfect for my vendors’ use but there are many small glitches that prevent me from launching my site. I am reviewing competing products and sadly may have to re-do my site with a different multivendor solution in order to launch. You are welcome to contact me directly at bkh_forum_wedevs (at) startupanywhere (dot) org . I have solved some problems but have not tackled shipping related issues yet.
