towhid | Hi there! The latest Dokan update has been really good! I'm so happy to see the changes made to the shipping feature and can't tell you how pleased I am to see Dokan Shipping with the Shipping and Returns policy. I have a couple of questions about editing the automatic emails: 1. When a Buyer purchases 2 items, each one from a different seller, the buyer will received 3 emails (1 total order email and 2 suborder emails). This might make them think they are paying twice for the item as each order email has a different order code. Is there a way where the Buyer will received just 1 total order email OR just 2 suborder emails only? 2. In the Woocommerce emails for 'Processing Orders' I would like to add the Seller's name to each product (i.e. Hand Lotion from Seller ABC instead of just Hand Lotion - under the 'Product' column) as this is needed to meet EU legislations. What is the best code to achieve this? 3. How do I add Estimated Delivery Date/Shipping Information to the 'Processing Order' Email? Thank you very very much for your work on this plugin and look forward to hearing from you! Gillian |

towhid | Hello Gil, To avail this kind of feature you need to customize the woocommerce. I will request you to hire a developer. Or you do on your own. 1. When someone buy from different seller in one order, we create sub-order for every seller to show that in their Dashboard. Woocommerece has some limitation for this feature. Please read this documentation – http://docs.wedevs.com/sub-order/ 2 & 3. To avail this kind of feature you need to customize the woocommerce. I will request you to hire a developer. Or you do on your own. Thank you 🙂 |

Gil C | Dear Towhid, Thank you for getting back to me so soon! Hmm I see, I suppose with a marketplace with so many users, there are bound to be quite a lot of emails going around, making it seem that there are multiple emails being sent. Just a suggestion, to try and resolve this, have you considered: A. Redirecting the sub-order emails that are ssupposed to go to the buyer, to a different email address eg the administrator’s email address – that way the emails are still sent but they end up in a different place B. Change the role of the administrator to a different role with the same capabilities but without woocommerce thinking it is a seller and therefore not sending out the total order email What do you think? Kindest regards and thank you again! |

Gil C | And as to the modifications to the email to add the store name to each product in the order email (eg Hand cream by Seller ABC instead of Hand cream), I saw a post of another member asking about a really similar issue and his issue was sorted very well by sk_shaikat. As it was resolved a year ago, there might be changes in the code from then to now and I would like his advice. If you are unable to help me here, I would like very much if you could ask sk_shaikat to write to me with some advice. |

Gil C | Hi Towhid, this is the strand that sk_shaikat answered: Seller Name/Lastname function in Mail Templates (Woocommerce) Also, hopefully, in the later Dokan versions, something can be done about the multiple emails so that a Buyer is only sent one email rather than 3-4 emails for each order. This is a really significant problem because it makes a buyer think he has been charged for double/triple-buying an item because of the sheer number of receipts confirming a sales. Thank you and hope to hear from one of you soon, |

Gil C | Hi Towhid, Thank you for your help with helping me find where to edit the placeholder in the edit product page. Again, it seems I need your help here! Just to reclarify the change I would like to achieve. It’s a very simple change to the order email – I just want to add in 2-3 words, with no extra formatting or rows or columns required – I just want to add the name of the shop next to the product name on the order email. Original Order Email received by Buyer New Order Email with 2-3 words added only I know it sounds really simple, but this will make the emails EU compliant, but I just don’t really know how to edit and add this to the current default email! Kind regards and awaiting your response!! |
