Tor B | But where in the world do you not have taxes? For me this is a unthinkable omission from the product. Taxes are regulated by law, and it is not something one can choose not to use. |

Nayem | Hello Tor B, We do not have this feature to add tax from the seller dashboard. Hope we will add this feature in our next update. But you can get the tax option from the admin panel. Please navigate to WooCommerce->Settings->Tax to get the tax settings. Thank you 🙂 |

Tor B | Yes, I am aware of that. But when having several law regulated tax rates and classes to choose from, it have to be set at the product level, by the seller…. What I need is a dropdown to choose the classes I define in WooCommerce->Settings->Tax per product. It should be in the frontend, and the seller has to choose from the dropdown, because it is the seller who know which tax to use on the product. If it makes it easier because you do not want to calculate tax in you product, I could live with a situation where the seller had to use prices including all taxes (but still be able to choose which class/rate the price is calculated by). By law, all receipts should state prices + tax = product price. This is not something one can choose not to do. Is this something I can find a freelancer to do? Or is it “impossible”? I really cannot use your product if it is not possible to use taxes, and it is a shame after having spent months and a lot of money to get this working so far. |

Pedro | You´re absolutely right the plugin should and it´s a most have to be able the client to choose the tax he want to put, if not all the multi vendor purpose of the plugin makes no sense because we are breaking the law, especially in Europe lands. |

Tor B | Is taxes easy to bring to the front end for the seller? Are you able to tell what needs to be done, so I can hire someone to do it? |

Nayem | Hello Tor B, I think you can hire a developer to make this custom feature. A good developer should know how to do this. Thank you 🙂 |

Tor B | I am having difficulties finding a freelancer willing to do this. But I got an idea: Are you good developers? What if I paid you to finish the product? I have already paid freelancers 1900 USD so far to get things to my liking (in addition to the 200 I paid for the plugin). As you can see, it is money in making things right. And as more and more people is starting to understand DOKAN DOES NOT SUPPORT TAX, it could be some of them would be willing to crowdfund missing functionality. I for one would pay for a finished product, because I have spent so much money and not least TIME on this. Are any of you customers willing to contribute to TAX HANDLING IN DOKAN? |

Tor B | @ Dokan support: Are you able to answer this? I would be willing to pay an extra fee to get the product working. |

Sekander Badsha | Hello Tor, Yes, you are correct. We have not implemented any feature for tax. So you have to mention prices including tax and notify the customers that your price is including tax. And I have also asked the developers to implement the tax features. But can not provide any ETA. Sorry for the inconvenience. |

Tor B | Hi Sekander! It is at least one problem with your approach: Not all products have the same tax. In more detail: |

Tor B | Can I follow up with a different question? Would it be a lot of work to make a backend dashboard for sellers? I guess the tax problem then would be automatically solved? |
