bigspring | Hi Guys, We have a user front end pro on our site to allow logged in users to upload resources. It's been working fine, but there's a strange issue with one particular PDF. The PDF opens perfectly fine when it was sent to me originally, but when the the file is uploaded to the via user front end pro it can no longer be opened. Opening in a browser shows the PDF viewer chrome, but not the actual content and no error. Trying to open it via my local machine says the file is empty. I can send the file if required but I can't make it publicly accessible. Any ideas? Thanks! |

bigspring | Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! PDFs are allowed to be uploaded and we have uploaded others successfully in the past. And if I upload it using the media library, it works perfect fine. |

Tareq Hasan | So that’s just one particular PDF file? If other files usually works, then it would be very difficult to find out whats actually going wrong with that PDF file. |

bigspring | That’s right – it seems to be this one file. And I thought I’d come and ask you because it is quote difficult to see what’s going wrong 🙂 Having said that, I have had issues with other files that are over 10MB (although the server allows 16MB). Is there any sort of file size limit that could be causing this? |

Tareq Hasan | There shouldn’t be any problem like this. Cause the upload we use, is the same from WordPress backend and the file uploading also done via WordPress native functions. So I don’t see anything wrong anywhere! |

bigspring | I’ll do some more testing and see if I can narrow it down a little further and come back to you. |
