Nurul Hi, I have installed and configured PayPal Adaptive Payments but every time I do a test order it says: "This transaction is invalid. Please return to the recipient's website and try again." I have Parallel Payments setup. My App was approved automatically. Status: Approved Automatically I have triple checked the App Username, App Password, App Signature, and the API APP ID. All of these are filled out correctly. We have a Verified Business PayPal Account. We have multiple sellers setup. (besides just the admin) So I'm baffled by what could be causing the problem. Any thoughts? We're excited to get our site up and rolling :)

Huh… This is really strange.

I just tried one more test purchase before going to bed and PayPal Adaptive
seems to be working now.

Any thoughts on what happened?

Hmmmmm. Looks like I spoke too soon 🙂

Something still isn’t right.

I have it setup to pay sellers 100%.

However… what happened was I accidentally put two of the same item in the ‘Cart’.

This is when the PayPal Adaptive finally went through without the error.

However… it split the payment between myself and the seller.

So something is still not right. It’s setup to give the seller 100%.

So not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Kim,

The sellers test account must use a registered PayPal sandbox email.

Are you shipping physical items or just selling lesson plans?

Hi Mike,

We’re testing it live so we’re not using the sandbox details.

The products are all digital.

None of our orders are working now through PayPal Adaptive Payments.

PayPal always goes to an error page:

“This transaction is invalid. Please return to the recipient’s website and try again.”

Hi Nayem,

I have read through all of the documentation multiple times. I’ve also scoured the forums trying to find a solution for days.

I’ve given my login details in a ‘private post’ above so please feel free to login and take a look.

I’ve double-checked ALL of the settings, documentation, etc… but something still isn’t right.

Please help!

Quick update…

Paypal Adaptive works when I have it setup as an 80/20 split.

But I want to give sellers 100%.

I FINALLY found the solution 🙂

The plugin that is in the download area is not the latest version.

I found one that was updated about a week ago here:

http://wedevs.com/support/topic/dokan-adaptive-payments-parallel-big-problem/#post-31074

Sekander Badsha provided an updated version there that fixes this problem.

So hopefully this version will soon be loaded into the main customer download area.

That way no one has to go through the 24-hours of digging and testing that I did 🙂

Cheers,

Kim

Ok… so PayPal Adaptive Payments are now working. (Solution posted above.)

But there’s one other problem.

The PayPal checkout page for Adaptive Payments doesn’t give any information on
the items being purchased. It only shows the PayPal Account names.

Here’s an example:

Can this be fixed??

Because if I were a buyer I would be confused by the one on the right.

It looks like there are other PayPal Parallel Payment Plugins that have more details on the PayPal Checkout Page. Ex. http://addons-modules.com/store/en/multiple-sellervendor/72-agile-prestashop-paypal-parallel-payment-module.html

Also… I’m still sometimes getting a PayPal error because of the “sub-orders” that Dokan creates.

In my Woocommerce logs the error shows that there are too many receivers. When there are actually only 2 or 3 receivers. But because of the ‘sub-orders’ – it’s counting it as more.

We really need a few fixes here for this to be a usable plugin.

I LOVE what you guys are doing. But need a little help here.

Hello Kim,

The first issue you mentioned about product name vs seller name: this is a quite complex. Because there is option for either way. Either we can send the product data, but the receiver has to be one, or we have to send the seller names and the receiver can be more than 2.
So this can not be fixed right now.

The second issue you mentioned about sub orders: there should be n+1 numbers order. Like if you are buying 3 different product from 3 different seller, then there should be total 4 orders. If you get more than that on your log please let me know.

Thank you for time 🙂

Hi Sekander,

I’m not sure how many receivers are being mentioned in the logs.

But it’s creating an error on PayPal’s side even with just items from
3 sellers in the cart.

You can test it out at http://www.teachervibe.com

Here’s one of the errors we get in the WooCommerce log: Receiver PayPal accounts must be unique.

If you need our login details just let me know. We’ve changed it from above.

Thanks!
