Invalid transaction?

Jay I wanted to see if there was a fix for this issue or if I am missing something here. If I sell a product and only have 1 to sell then this could be a problem. Example, customer #1 adds a product to their store and says only 1 in stock. Customer #2 comes to the shop and adds the product to their cart but never pays. This ties up the product and when customer #3 adds it to their cart and tries to process the payment it will say invalid transaction. This happens because the product is already pending and if customer #2 never pays or cancels the transaction then the product can never be sold. Is there a work around for this?

Nice thinking. Woocommerce is handling this process totally, Dokan is doing nothing here. What do you think, what it should be?

Some possible ideas:

1. if the person adds it to their cart and doesn’t pay it should remove the product within a few minutes back into the store.
2. if they close the browser and left the contents in their cart then it should remove them automatically.
3. A notice should definitely be there if someone tries to add a product that is already in someones cart.
4. Payment reminder from the seller store would be cool and the abilty to pull the item out of a customers cart to be sold again.

I am not sure but I see this as being a big issue down the road if something isnt implemented.

I am getting the same invalid transaction error and don’t have the product in any other carts. I just made a post about it. I guess I should have read recent posts first. Sorry. Paypal told me it was an issue with the pay key not generating from the plugin.

@Jay, have you checked the settings here for inventory? wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=products&section=inventory

For adaptive payments, update the plugin.

@tareq, I have the Enable stock management checked. It has been working fine for me at the moment.

I also changed the “Hold Stock (minutes)” from 60 minutes to 5 minutes which will help out if someone takes the stock and never pays.
