Sekander Badsha | I just posted in this topic: http://wedevs.com/support/topic/dokan-plugin-seller-page-customization/#post-28775 This topic seems to have related problems with the individual seller/store pages and they weren't fixed (or communicated as such) http://wedevs.com/support/topic/dokan-plugin-seller-page/ Please, please provide documentation and answers about the seller page. This is definitely a Dokan issue not a theme issue. Thank you, Brenda |

Brenda | OK, my quick fix was to go into the Dokan widget template store.php and comment out the line which says When you split out the theme from the widget, you left in this sidebar ‘store’ and my woocommerce compatible theme, Virtue, doesn’t have a sidebar called ‘store’. I don’t wish to add such a sidebar to my theme so I just commented out this line so we have left — I’m sure that’s not the best way to fix the problem but it works for me right now. Your widget must be able to work with all woocommerce themes. They do not all have a sidebar called ‘store’. I could have substituted another sidebar to this line in Dokan widget but I don’t need the sidebar on the individual store page, I will be using footer and header for the required information. Please fix this for other users of Dokan plugin and please tell me when it is fixed. Thank you. |

Sekander Badsha | Hello Brenda, We have already fixed that issue by placing a file inside the plugin to load the sidebar. This will be released in our next update. And you have the options on the Dokan settings to turn on or off the maps and contact form. So if you want, you can turn off these widgets too. |

Brenda | Thanks for your reply. When will be the next release date? I would like to have that sidebar option now as I’m building the site so I hope it is soon. Thank you. |

Brenda | I posted additional information and requests for assistance in threads that some other Dokan users started rather than repeat things here. You haven’t been replying and I’ve wondered why. Now I just realized that those threads are categorized as “resolved” by your support team. They are not resolved for the other users who posted there (the problems appeared to be still open/ongoing) and that is why I posted there to continue the threads. Please go to these other threads and reply to my inquiries. Also, you may note the others who submitted questions and comments to the thread still don’t have an answer from you. The two threads are http://wedevs.com/support/topic/dokan-plugin-issues/ and http://wedevs.com/support/topic/no-map-or-contact-form-showing/ Both of these are related to my thread here. We are all having problems with the individual store pages because when the plugin was split out from the theme, it wasn’t well documented in terms of how to get the proper features for individual store pages into other non-Dokan themes. You must remember that most wordpress themes do not conceive of having a multivendor marketplace. Perhaps you can answer the questions in those thread by writing up an overview of how to integrate the Dokan into a non-Dokan theme? Or, perhaps you can at a minimum give us a date that you’ll be providing this update in Dokan plugin? Thank you. |
