Nayem | I am getting real frustrated. I have completed my website already for some time. But I am not getting answers I can clearly understand. When it comes to setting up my page, I have memberships. 100% of the sale will go to the store owner, I dont collect any percent for one of my pages. So--Do I need BOTH Paypal AND Paypal Adaptive Active? If so Explain in detail WHY. And WHY I must have both Paypal and Paypal Adaptive active as selling options upon checkout? Do you know how frickn insane it looks to have paypal listed TWICE in my cart to either a seller/subscriber and to Customers? How do they know which one to use seeing 2 dang checkout Paypal options? Am I being explained things poorly or is this the way it is for everyone who is using this? If one type of Paypal must be used for subscribers, and another type be used for customers, WHY NOT PUT a the paypal type that is only for subscribers to renew in their dashboard and have a separate checkout page that only pulls up that type for subscribers, and all the rest of regular transactions go to the sitewide viewable checkout page, which uses the other type of Paypal option? Does the site automatically know which one to use?? If it does know which one to use, must I have both visible in checkout? I dont care how many people respond to this or who does, as long as you are right. Ive gotten several support answers but I dont understand at all it is too vague, there should be detailed documentation explaining this for retards like me who are actually quite smart. Just new to this and it doesnt make sense to me AT ALL why I would have paypal in my cart twice in a row its confusing to me and to anybody else that sees it Thanks |

Nayem | Hello David, When you will use Dokan subscription and if a seller want to purchase recurring subscription pack then you have to configure both PayPal and PayPal adaptive payment gateway with the correct API details. You have to enable both gateway from the backend but on the checkout page it will show one gateway on the checkout page to make payment. When user will purchase a product the payment process will be done by PayPal adaptive and if a seller purchase recurring subscription then the payment process will be done by PayPal because PayPal adaptive does not support recurring payment. There will be no confusion in the checkout page because user will get PayPal there they will pay through that gateway but our system will decide which system should use. If product then PayPal adaptive and PayPal for recurring subscription. The final thing is- Customer or seller will get one gateway on the cart to pay. Please let me know if you are not clear. |

David | Nayem, This answer was very thorough and clear, but I am still not getting it to work. Is it because I have everything right on my website, but I have not configured it when signed into Paypal? Where do I fix very specifically the issue of having both paypal and paypal adaptive showing up in my shopping cart still. It doesnt matter if someone is buying a product or subscription, both checkout options are still showing on checkout Do you have any screenshots of paypal where I configure this correctly? I know it has been configured correctly on my site. what next? I still cant publish my site and get it going until I get this fixed, it will confuse people on checkout. Perhaps some very clear documentation for new customers when buying this product will be good as this step is probably the trickiest. Thank you for your help, Still in need |

David | to make it real simple: I have entered in all my paypal info for Dokan Adaptive and Paypal, the cart still shows both options when checking out for subscription, and both options when checking out for products Where am I going wrong? Am I supposed to create things in Paypal? It already knows that there are recurring subscriptions, it shows subscriptions and the way they will be charged automatically, it shows products or what was bought BUT it still shows both items on checkout on my website. How to fix in detail with steps? and from where with steps? |
