towhid Hello Dokan! I am using Paypal as our shopping cart. But I am wondering, are our sellers able to refund the sales amount to their customers using Dokan? Also, if they refund the amount, they only refund their amount and I would have to refund the remaining commission that I received? If not, are they supposed to refund the amount by going into Paypal itself? I am just trying to understand the refund option. Thank you. Best regards, James

Hello James,

The seller can not make refunds. Only the admin can and the process has to done manually. So the admin can choose the amount to refund.

Admin have to refund from PayPal and cancel the order manually. After cancelling the order, the amount would be deducted from the sellers account. And customer has to send the refund request to the admin.

When a refund made the total product price and admin’s commission will be deduct.

Suppose, you have product which price is $10. Admin set commission is 10% in the commission setting from the backend. When customer purchase a product admin will get $1 and seller will get $9.

So when a refund will made total $10 will be refund to the customer.

Thanks
