Sekander Badsha | Hello, My question is related to this existing question: http://wedevs.com/support/topic/guest-posting-if-guest-knows-some-users-email-address-this-can-be-problem/ When a user email already exists, they should not be allowed to guest post. Instead, they should be told to sign in. I am aware that WPUF is intended to work this way and this is not a bug. I even saw this feature in the documentation before I purchased the plugin so I'm not claiming that anything is broken. However, WPUF has many useful action hooks and filter hooks so we can surely extend the functionality. So how can we use those hooks to solve this issue? I am sure that many of your customers will want an answer to this, so please let us know. It will be extremely helpful to all of us indeed. Kind regards, Vin |

Nayem | Hello V, We do not have such kind of feature right now. But I have requested personally to our developer team to add this feature in our next update. Thank you 🙂 |

V | Thanks, I appreciate that. I’m looking forward to the update. But in the mean time, there must be a way to do this using the action / filter hooks. Surely it isn’t very complicated I am a developer myself, so I can do all the php myself. I just need a hint as to which variables to access etc. Please help! Kind regards, Vinny |

Sekander Badsha | Hello V, There is no built in action or hook to check the email while posting. So you have to check and match the mail address manually by hard coding. |
