Mahi | Hi Tareq, I absolutely think your plugin is completely awesome! In my opinion there has been an ongoing HUGE gap in Wordpress as a system and this is front end post creation and editing … or a cleaner simpler contributor level back end. Anyway, I have been waiting for your plugin for a long time and am very very happy that you have developed it. Please keep up the great work, I think your plugin is perhaps one of the most desperately needed plugins of all time. I am certain I am not alone in my appreciation, the WordPress community cannot thank you enough for this awesome contrinution enabling us non-code monkeys to realise our wordpress dreams. You Rock. Now on to feature requests. Conditional Field Display Simply put, the Display of Field B is dependent on a certain value in field A. Both Advanced Custom Fields, and Gravity Forms use conditional fields, but they cannot do front end user post creation AND editing. If WP User Front End displayed fields conditionally then it would absolutely be the first and last user frontend anybody would ever need. Set Post Status based on User Role I know you provided some code to do this in a support forum, but I think it would make an awesome feature in the Options. User Role Set Initial Post Status to Admin Published Author Published Contributor Pending Review This way new contributors will require approval of their posts, but once a contributor has proven trustworthy, you can make them an Author and not have to check their posts anymore. Thank you. |
