Sekander Badsha | On Sept 3 on the blog you guys mentioned that Dokan is coming out as a stand along plugin (yay!). Any ETA on this? Also will existing Dokan theme users be able to convert from using the theme to the plugin? Reason I ask is we're waiting to build out the rest of the site right now until this is finalized as our preference would be to use the plugin. |

Mahi | Hello Will, All existing Dokan theme customers will have access to Dokan plugin free of cost (Yay!) 🙂 plugin is ready for beta testing. It will requires you to install Woocommerce V2.2 as, you may aware of Woocommerce Major Upgrade notice. Finally, it should be available with in this week or early next week as team is also working on add-ons to make compatible with the plugin. Thank you. |

Will | That’s great news! Very excited about this. Just one other part of that question there – if I have an existing Dokan site up and running (using the theme) will I be able to switch from the theme to the plugin and keep my store information? Or will my sellers have to re-register etc? I’m assuming it will just switch over? Thanks. |

Mike | Yes, you can keep your information. It’s stored in the database. |

Will | Great just wasn’t sure of the structure of the new plugin. Do you know if it will be keeping the same template structure? The reason I ask is we’ve made significant modifications to the dashboard and product entry pages so we would need to make those changes again with the plugin. Lots of questions here 🙂 |

Mahi | @Will – our initial plan was keep the same structure. But, we are considering to re-design the add-product page. Bring everything is single page. People (who are not familiar with Woocommerce) they become confused with many tabs. image: What do you think about this guys? |

Mike | I love it, anyway I can become a beta tester? I wonder what market are you guys trying to attack? Because you have the xcart, cs cart and ect all with option for multi-vendors BUT none with just a ‘regular’ user signing up to sell a few items. Our main users don’t have stores with lots of inventory of the same item and SKU’s . They want to list a few items and thats it.. That’s the ebay or etsy motto.. |

Christopher | My users have lots of items to add i like the idea of one page, i would like to also become beta tester. But i don’t like how the subscriptions package works.. i thought it was to going to be a subscription page, something like this part here” http://wedevs.com/theme/dokan/#buyNow ” but insstead you made it into the dasboard which not cool at all.. Thanks |
