Aleksander Støle The forms do not save. When I press "Publish" the laoding icon spins around forever and the page does not update. When I go back to the forms list, the changes I've made have been reset, although it's still there in draft mode. Also, I get these errors under post type, post status and guest post: Warning: Illegal string offset 'post_type' in /home/tswdb/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-user-frontend-pro/class/admin-form.php on line 275 Warning: Illegal string offset 'post_status' in /home/tswdb/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-user-frontend-pro/class/admin-form.php on line 280 Warning: Illegal string offset 'guest_post' in /home/tswdb/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-user-frontend-pro/class/admin-form.php on line 287 I'm using the premium version and the latest version of the plugin. Other plugins I have: * Advanced Custom Fields * Quform * Mapplic * Disqus Comment System * Bainternet Posts Creation Limits * iThemes Security * Duplicate Posts * wp-jquery-lightbox * Visual Editor Custom Buttons * Sitemap Generator for Webmasters * Colored Posts List * WP-United * WP No Category Base * WP Category Permalink PS! [wpuf_addpost] doesn't work either. It just shows the text "[wpuf_addpost]" on the page.

Hello Aleksander,

Would you mind to post the live URL of the site? this looks quite new. We haven’t checked all the plugin for conflict yet, so we rather prefer to check the live URL first.

Posting the live URL would not help as the saving issue and the errors are in the back-end WordPress panel, and not visible on the front-end.

if we can’t re-generate the error or can’t see it our self then we may not be able to offer you any help here!

Beside, you are following free plugin shortcode. PRO version totally different. Please check documentation here: http://docs.wedevs.com/category/plugins/wp-user-frontend-pro/

PS: it seems to me a plugin conflict.

Your form didn’t save properly. Follow these steps:

1. Check this video:

http://docs.wedevs.com/stuck-in-a-endless-loop/

2. Then, try to re-save/recreate the submission form.

First, this is a slightly different issue as my errors are in the back-end (WP dashboard), while the ones in the video are on the front-end.

The post contents in the video is saved, but for me the form changes are not saved.

Also, I am not going to turn off PHP errors. PHP errors are not there to be ignored.

I can’t see any further way to help you here! as, we can’t test it by our self neither can do generate that error!

This could be –
– plugin didn’t install properly
– form didn’t save properly
– Other plugin conflict
– server environment

wpuf-pro using by more than couple of thousand users actively but never had similar error report before. So, we need to check it to provide a solution.

Thank you.

Calm down my friend. Firstly, its very clear message that – if we can’t generate the error then how come we will be able to provide solution?

Please provide your site url, user login and password so we can check it. Also mark your reply as Private reply to keep it safe.

If you can’t then sorry we can’t find any other way to provide you any solution!

The permisson that grants access to the WP User Frontend section of the dashboard is the same permission that grants access to edit all the server and site options.

manage_options

You must understand that I cannot give out the credentials to a user account that could turn my site upside down, even if I mark it private.

Maybe you should make your plugin run on separate permission tokens, so that people can grant access to the WP User Frontend’s section, but not the website options.

It would be a lot easier for us if we had the chance to look inside the hood. From this point, we can’t help you because we have some “may be” scenario. We can’t confirm which one is the real one here, as we can’t see the problem.

Which is why you should consider making separate permission tokens for this plugin so people can grant you access to that section without granting access to other vital areas of the wordpress panel….
