| Brenda | Hi everyone, Just thought I'd post and see if anyone wants to team up and split customization/programming work since we are all creating the same type of site (multi-seller website). I'm customizing and adding a lot of features through plugins and coding. Thought people might be in the same boat and want to team up. When we finish we can use Duplicator so everyone who helped gets a copy. Maybe we can even submit our changes to WeDevs to be included in the next update? If you are interested, email me at gabrielshih@yahoo.com and we'll see what features we want and if they match. Here's a list of features I am looking for. Most of these will be accomplished through plugins: - All members are sellers - Take off "Customer/Sellers" options in options page - Child theme - Referrals from users - Commissions for users from people they refer - Coupons - Security - Shipping and tracking - Stripe payment integration - Several payments at certain times (rather than all at once). - Tutorial pages for new users - Social network login. Long Term features: - Native mobile app (through PhoneGap) on iPhone and Android - Use of phone features for posting and payments. Feel free to add features you would like to see as well. | Hi Brenda, I just sent a request to join the FB group. I was able to change the all users into sellers, get rid of the radio buttons and customize the registration fields. Unfortunately, I was not able to make the changes in the child theme: I had to make them in the parent theme and use that. I kept a list of my changes in a document. Brenda, can you tell me more about the Stripe plugin? Can I find it in the WordPress plugin directory? Or can I get the code from you? Thanks, Brenda. -Gabe |
